Alexander Tyagny-Ryadno



Author’s monograph of photographer Alexander Tyagny-Ryadno, includes about 600 photos, starting with the first photograph taken with “Smena 8” camera in 1979 and ending with the latest photos in 2015. The monograph consists of three volumes. The first volume devoted to the turn of Soviet and Post-Soviet epochs in the best traditions of Russian photographic symbolism. In the second volume the author, continuing the tradition of the classic psychological portrait is of famous scientists, politicians, businessmen; international stars of theatre and cinema; world-famous writers and poets. The third volume is devoted to the search for a contemporary language and style in color photography, it includes the work of the last seven years. Photos in 29 independent projects – chapters placed in chronological order. Introduced by Photography critic Victoria Musvik.
