White Space Gallery is pleased to announce the addition of an editorial section to the website. This will include interviews, podcasts, artists’ films and video art. The first of these editorials is a series of interviews with artists featured in our current exhibition Women at Work: Subverting the Feminine in Post-Soviet Russia. These conversations pair artists and art critics, discussing the practices, vision and ideas behind their work.
The first in this series of interviews are:
A Carnival to Overcome Alienation: curator and art historian Dorota Michalska in conversation with Gluklya (Natalia Pershina-Yakimanskaya)
The Morphology of Imagination: Dorota Michalska in conversation with Lera Nibiru
Prisoner of the Caucuses: journalist and art critic Igor Grebelnikov in conversation with Olga Tobreluts
The interviews can be found on our editorial page
